I founded Growthfirst because I kept seeing the same problem — capable businesses held back not by ambition, but by the admin, the manual follow-ups, and the disconnected systems eating up their team’s time every day. With over 15 years of experience spanning academia, manufacturing and technology development across Australia and internationally, I bring a practical, engineering mindset to every automation challenge — focused on what actually works, not what sounds impressive in a pitch deck. I hold a PhD in AI from the University of Wollongong, where I was also awarded the prestigious Three Minute Thesis award among other academic honours — but what drives my work at Growthfirst is far simpler than any research paper: helping real businesses run better.

Today I run Growthfirst from Melbourne’s west, working with businesses across trades, logistics, insurance, civil infrastructure and sustainability to build automation systems that genuinely move the needle. Alongside Growthfirst, I developed Failygreen.io — an AI platform for carbon accounting in the fashion and textile industry — and I collaborate with RMIT University in Melbourne on an AI system designed to help businesses navigate ACCC compliance. Whether it is a five-person refrigeration company wanting to cut their quote admin in half, or a national recycling organisation automating their council contract communications, the goal is always the same — give your team their time back, and give your business room to grow.
